As Data Manager for the California Landscape Conservation Cooperative (CA LCC) I help make the products of climate change research available for use in conservation planning and decision-making. I participate at the national level developing LCC data management policy and solutions for data exchange between LCCs.

My degrees are Bachelor of Science in Botany and Master of Arts in Geography, both from UC Davis. I’ve been dedicated to improving access to environmental data for 18 years. Together with partners at Point Blue Conservation Science and the UC Davis Information Center for the Environment I've developed the California Climate Commons, a website dedicated to making it easy to find and understand the latest climate change science for use in land management decisions and planning.

I am proud to be a native of Sonoma County although I have lived in Kona, Hawaii, and traveled parts of the world before settling down again in the Petaluma area. I love to get out in nature with my pop-top camper and I’m especially fond of the desert; I also enjoy Hawaiian outrigger canoe racing on the cold, foggy waters of the SF Bay Area.
