I come to Point Blue with a distinguished career in fundraising, including experiences with SF State University, Oregon State University, University of San Francisco and Georgetown University. Prior to university work, I worked in investment banking in San Francisco where I managed investments for high net worth individuals and families.

I grew up in Oregon; a deep love of the outdoors, passed on through generations, runs in my veins. I spent a lifetime fishing, hiking and touring family farms with my Grandfather, a pioneer in forest and wood products. My family instilled in me a great respect for the natural world, education, and scientific research. I am happy to continue the family tradition in association with Point Blue Conservation Science and am proud to work alongside such stellar colleagues.

I also serve on nonprofit boards, including Children’s Cause for Cancer Advocacy and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium. I was called to this work when my godson was diagnosed with cancer, and it remains especially meaningful to me.

In my spare time, I enjoy supporting theater and reading language and literature. I also love to travel. Some of  my vacations have included the Galapagos, an African Safari and a tour of factories in China with my brother’s company, an international import-export firm. I have lived, studied, and worked all over the world. I hold a BA in Philosophy and Fine Arts from Georgetown University and an MA in German Language and Literature from University of Oregon.

I look forward to connecting with you and working together to sustain a healthy blue planet!
