Assistant Controller

Even though my first passion was botany, birds are a lot like flying flowers.  I love the way that birds announce their presence and how they make us turn off the noise in our head in order to notice them, to hear them.

As Assistant Controller, my primary role at Point Blue is to do the accounting for our Emerging Programs and Partnerships, San Francisco Bay, and Sierra Nevada Groups.

Before joining Point Blue Conservation Science, I worked for a variety of non-profits in the role of Admin and Finance Director and have also served as Chief of Staff for a former Contra Costa County Supervisor.

I have a degree in botany from UC Berkeley and a Master’s in Public Administration from CSU, Hayward.  I enjoy spending time outdoors, writing poetry, and building things.
