Nancy Gamble

Director of Philanthropy

As Director of Philanthopry, I have the pleasure of working with individuals and family foundations who are interested in and committed to Point Blue’s mission and the many extraordinary conservation projects that span a wide geographic reach from the Sierras to the sea, from Alaska to Antarctica.

In May of 2005 I came to Point Blue with over 20 years of development experience.  As Director of Donor Development for the Northern California Division of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society  I raised significant funds for cancer research and launched a new fundraising program that raised over $2 million for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I worked closely with the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Chapter and recruited the first Board of Directors for the San Jose Chapter. In 2002 I relocated to California from Chicago, Illinois. While in Chicago I worked for Condell Medical Center where I was instrumental in raising funds for a new digital cardiac catheterization laboratory, a new emergency room, new oncology center, and several other projects.

I grew up in the Chicago area and spent my childhood climbing trees, swimming and enjoying what nature had to offer.  I attended Barat College in Lake Forest, Illinois.
