We held our annual Bird-A-Thon Awards Celebration on January 25th, 2014 at Point Blue's Petaluma headquarters. Point Blue resident scientist and Director of our Sierra Nevada Group Ryan Burnett spoke on 'Water, Warblers and Wet Meadows.' Ryan's talk was funny and informative.

A dinner buffet and dessert was served with fine wines poured by George Peyton, presenting Rosenblum and other notable local producers. Lagunitas Brewing Company generously supplied their great locally-made beers.

Renowned artists Keith Hansen and Sophie Webb were on hand with their beautiful work for sale. A portion of the art sale went to support Point Blue’s leading efforts to advance the conservation of birds, other wildlife and ecosystems through science, partnerships and outreach.
