One of the simplest ways to protect nature and support PRBO is through a bequest. These thoughtful gifts ensure that PRBO can continue our critical work to protect birds, other wildlife, and the land and waters you care about, for future generations.

Have you made a bequest for the future of nature? Would you like more information? If so, please let us know* so we can answer your questions, thank you, and welcome you into the Tern Society.

How It Works:

You can provide now for a future gift to PRBO by including a bequest provision in your will or revocable trust.

PRBO receives the gift and applies it to the purpose(s) you specify.

The Benefits:

Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime.

You can modify your bequest if your circumstances change.

You can direct your bequest to a particular purpose.

There is no upper limit on the estate tax donation that can be taken for charitable bequests.

Your gift will benefit the future of nature through PRBO, just as you intend today.

If you have made a lasting gift, or would like to learn more about bequests, please let us know by contacting Nancy Gamble at 707-781-2554 or, or by filling out the enclosed—so we can thank you and welcome you to The Tern Society.

Translate your passion for birds, other wildlife and conservation into a gift that provides a legacy for future generations!
