Urgently needed to support PRBO's outstanding intern training program:

Equipment and services needed in PRBO programs

For travel to conferences and scientific meetings: Frequent Flier miles.

To document education programs and for student-directed outreach projects: 2 or 3 "Flip" video cameras.

For research on Southeast Farallon Island: a digital SLR camera.

For First Aid preparedness at our headquarters and field station: 2 AEDs (automatic emergency defibrillators).

For our Membership & Events projects: volunteer assistance at PRBO headquarters.

For STRAW (Students & Teachers Restoring a Watershed): garage or similar storage space in Petaluma; a 4-wheel-drive pick-up truck to access restoration sites; a "water buffalo" tank on a trailer (photo at right), needed for hand watering during the spring and summer.

Thank you to PRBO member Bob Battagin, for donating a second-hand 4-wheel-drive vehicle for our coastal seabird studies near Vandenburg Air Force Base. We greatly appreciate this generous gift!
