The Farallones Need Your Help

Spring 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of Point Blue’s globally-renowned Farallon Island program. Unfortunately, new proposed actions out of Washington, DC seriously threaten the collaborative progress we’ve made to protect seabirds, marine mammals, and the ocean. Restoration & Fires 

Our STRAW program and Sonoma County students had previously restored four sections of stream that burned in the recent fires. We will work with our county and state partners to assess restorations that were burned as well as other affected areas over the next couple of years.

COP23 Recap

In 2017 we became an official NGO observer with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
