Informatics Operations & Security Manager

Position Description:

We are seeking an Informatics Operations & Security Manager to join our Ecoinformatics and Climate Adaptation team! The Informatics Operations & Security Manager will be responsible for service delivery and website/systems reliability and scalability including reporting, configuration and building, testing, planning, and deployment of solutions. They will lead all aspects of deployment and technical operations including technical project resources scheduling, risk management, internal and external communications, status reporting, and resource management reporting of the AWS system. They will also be responsible for security related to the Point Blue Science Cloud, including leading incident responses and collaboration with our outside IT vendor.

Compensation and Benefits:

$100,000-$115,000 Annually, depending on experience. Point Blue provides a comprehensive benefit package including employer paid medical and dental for staff and 75% for dependents. This position requires a combination of education or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; and 5 years of experience in DevOps or related field.
