Payroll and Benefits Manager

In my role as Payroll and Benefits Manager at Point Blue, I administer the payroll and benefits and strive to provide excellent customer service to all Point Blue employees. As an HR team, our primary focus is on being the best resource for our employees so that they can keep focusing on their critical work. It is very important to me to work at an organization where the mission speaks to me. Point Blue is an incredible organization that is making such a positive and meaningful impact on the world. I feel proud to be able to be a part of this amazing community focused on climate-smart conservation science. I joined Point Blue with over 22 years of experience in HR and a majority of that time was spent managing a wide range of HR areas as a hands-on leader and generalist.

I am originally from the Bay Area and just moved back to Petaluma with my husband in 2018, after living in Boston for 18 years.  Let’s just say that I am glad to be back! I have a B.S. in Human Development from U.C. Davis and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. Even though after graduate school I shifted my course a bit, I have found my counseling degree very helpful throughout my HR experiences.

The ocean is my happy place and truly soothes my soul. I try to get deep breaths of salt air whenever possible. I also am a huge animal lover and have 2 rescue dogs that rule my world. Literally! I can be found working either in the Petaluma headquarters or in my home office in Petaluma.
