Restoration Technician Lead
I’m a west coast transplant originally from the Great Lake State of Michigan. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Michigan University in Environmental Science and Natural Resources. Upon graduating college, I left for “slightly” bigger mountains far from home and traded the long, snowy winters for California’s temperate climate. For the last five years, I have been hopping around the west working various jobs in the conservation field. I interned with Point Blue’s STRAW Project in 2018-2019 where I developed a deep passion for habitat restoration and wildlife conservation. Before returning to Point Blue, I lived and worked in our lovely neighbor to the north with the Oregon Marbled Murrelet Project learning more about seabird ecology and the importance of happy and healthy old-growth forests. With a love for both native plant restoration and wildlife, I was stoked to return to Point Blue. I’m passionate about all things outdoors. In my free time, you can most likely find me biking, running, beaching, surfing, or just sitting and eating good food with good friends.
