Stacey Atchley-Manzer

Donor Communications Manager

As Donor Communications Manager, I work to deepen Point Blue’s engagement with the thoughtful individuals who support our critical mission through philanthropy. I am continually inspired by these visionary supporters and their significant impact on Point Blue’s efforts to sustain thriving wildlife and human communities well into the future.

Being part of the Point Blue team is a wonderful opportunity to bring my skills as a seasoned fundraising professional together with my personal interests in environmental stewardship, biodiversity research, and wildlife conservation. With nearly twenty years of development experience, I have raised annual, planned, and campaign gifts on behalf of many wonderful organizations. These include KQED Public Media, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, University of California, Berkeley, and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, where I spent eight years working closely with leading scientists and generous donors dedicated to understanding and protecting our natural world.

I am a native of Southern California, and my lifelong love of science and nature began on family camping adventures, trips to our National Parks, and visits to the Natural History Museum and the La Brea Tar Pits. I attended California State University Long Beach, and while I earned a degree in Art History and Museum Studies, I also enjoyed studying field zoology, with occasional mist-netting and bird banding excursions!

While not at Point Blue, I can be found working on my turn-of-the-century home, gardening, cooking, and spending time with my family.
