Support Art and Science

After about five months of work, Larissa Babicz, former Point Blue Apprentice, completed Birds of Palomarin, a 27.5 x 39.5 inch drawing showing all 78 bird species that were caught, documented, and released back into the wild last year during her 2022 spring/summer field research season at the Palomarin Field Station. In order to help support Point Blue Conservation Science, Larissa has generously agreed to donate 40% of the profit from the sale of the original piece to us. Learn more about the work of art and science here and here and watch an interview with the artist/biologist here.

Legacy Giving

You can help advance climate-smart conservation solutions for birds, other wildlife, and human communities by making a bequest or other planned gift to Point Blue. Your gift, no matter the size, will help ensure that Point Blue remains a strong voice for climate-smart conservation science and nature-based solutions for wildlife and people — well into the future!

There are many ways to make a planned gift, including options that offer tax benefits and provide income for you or a loved one. Supporters who have provided for our future through planned gifts are invited to join Point Blue’s Tern Society. As a Tern Society member, you will receive invitations to exclusive events as well as recognition in our publications.

“I see my estate plan as an extension of my life’s interests. I am hopeful that my financial contributions help in meaningful and diverse ways, and second, my actions in the environmental community might encourage others to give however they can.” – Mark Mushkat, Tern Society Member
