We're so excited to launch a brand new program and share it with you. MSP+ Science to Action is a new source of funding for shorebird conservation work in Latin America and builds on over a decade of science and partnership-building we've led in the Migratory Shorebird Project.
During our pilot phase over the past year, we issued five grants to partners in Latin America, ranging from building capacity for local and Indigenous communities in Mexico, to integrating shorebird monitoring into conservation management at the national level in Chile. You can read grantee stories from our pilot phase on the MSP+ website.
We are now excited to formally launch MSP+ and increase support to grantees in Latin America with future rounds of funding.
