Point Blue's 160 scientists develop nature-based solutions to climate change, habitat loss, and other environmental threats to benefit wildlife and people.

Join our 45th Annual Rich Stallcup Bird-A-Thon!

Count birds for conservation during the 45th Annual Rich Stallcup Bird-A-Thon, September 15 – October 15. You can join a team, form your own, or count individually to participate in the country’s longest running bird-a-thon.

This year’s event includes an exciting new opportunity to increase your support of Point Blue's work to conserve birds, other wildlife, and ecosystems through science, partnership, and outreach: the Marcia Grand Bird-A-Thon Team Challenge! Any team that correctly identifies 1 animal from each of the following 3 taxonomic groups--mammals, amphibians, reptiles-- will receive a $50 gift for their team total to support Point Blue. This challenge was inspired by Rich Stallcup, who recorded every living creature he saw during his Bird-A-Thon.

The 45th Annual Rich Stallcup Bird-A-Thon is dedicated to Ivan Samuels in honor of his invaluable leadership, passion for nature and birds, and his many years of support for the Bird-A-Thon.
