Downtown Dabblers Bird-A-Thon Walk for All Level Birders

129 Petaluma Blvd N, Petaluma (near the Petaluma Pie Company, Downtown Petaluma)

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Meet at Putnam Plaza Park

Some people who birdwatch are hardcore listers, birding from dawn till dusk to the ends of the earth to get that one rare bird. Others just like to dabble. This walk is for that second group but welcomes anyone from listers to brand newbies. You’ll be surprised at the number of birds you can observe in an urban setting. As we search for and identify birds in this developed area, we’ll also discuss ways to make cities more bird friendly and habitat rich.

Bring binoculars if you have them but extra pairs will be provided.

Sign up to join the team here and grab your spot. We’ll limit the group size to 10 so we can stay together and safe and share narrow sidewalks.

Can’t make the walk but still want to support the team? Simply head over to the team page here and click donate.
