Green Herons Beginner Bird-A-Thon Walk

Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation Environmental Center

8:30am - 10:30am

900 Sanford Road Santa Rosa, CA 95401

Join Anne Morkill, Executive Director of the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation, and Lishka Arata, Point Blue Senior Communications Coordinator, for a beginner bird walk as part of Point Blue’s 44th Annual Rich Stallcup Bird-A-Thon co-hosted by the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation. Join us and our conservation partner to learn about the positive impact of habitat restoration while learning how to identify our feathered indicators of environmental health: birds! We will definitely search for the often elusive, solitary Green Heron along the water’s edge.

Register here to attend the walk and here to officially join the Green Herons team. You can also simply donate to the team to support conservation through Point Blue.

We suggest you consider a donation to the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation as well.

This family-friendly beginning birder outing is open to all and will include a tutorial for those who want to gather in nature and learn more about birding and conservation science.
