Winged Migration Expo

Get ready to spread your wings at the Winged Migration Expo, an immersive, all-day celebration of birds. With 11 sessions and workshops throughout the day, the expo explores our connection to avian life from many perspectives. A featured highlight includes a book talk for In the Shadow of the Bridge: Birds of the Bay Area, where photographer Dick Evans and author Hannah Hindley share stories behind their stunning images of Bay Area birds—along with insights from Point Blue scientists who helped bring the project to life. Proceeds from the book benefit Point Blue, making this talk both inspiring and impactful within a full day of bird-focused programming.

The Winged Migration Expo takes place on Saturday Jan 31 and Sunday Feb 1. Admission is free for both days.
